"S” status refers to swimmers who only participate in summer swimming and who train no more than 2 hours per week from September to April and that not competed in sanctioned races during that period.. Swimmer “O” status denotes swimmers who train or compete year-round, exceeding 2 hours of training per week from October to April. See BCSSA Information page for more.

Please bring a cap, goggles, and a water bottle to practice. Senior athletes are strongly encouraged to bring their own flippers, paddles, snorkel and pull-buoys . Make sure to label all your equipment with your name!
Athletes should come prepared with the following; training suit, goggles, swim cap and towel. In addition athletes should come with closed toe shoes for dryland training days along with a towel and athletic clothing.
No! Summer swimming is about learning to complete while development skills and having fun with friends. We encourage families to attend as many meets as possible, however there are athletes that only attend practices. Keep in mind, the more your child is exposed to the meets, the greater enjoyment and feeling of accomplishment they will have.

The Haney Neptunes operates on volunteerism. During the year, there are opportunities to support the executive on a variety of tasks. During the summer season, all meet attendees are to volunteer either as a timer, or as an official.
